Horticulturist George McCleary shows an example of black spot on a Dr Huey rose leaf at the Bellamy-Ferriday House in Bethlehem on Sunday during the annual Rose Walk. Due to rain, workers collected roses and brought them indoors for attendants to look at as they listen to a lecture from McCleary. During the lecture, the rain stopped and the group went outdoors. McCleary said that the gardens on the property had more than 100 types of roses, most of which were planted by Caroline Ferriday and her mother Eliza Mitchell Ferriday in the early 1900s.
