CHESHIRE, CT. 26 April 2010-042610SV12--C. P. "Trum" Troemel of 61 East Gate Drive has had solar panels on top of his roof for nearly two years. He said it's his contribution to green living along with things like a compost bin and recycling. The 15 solar panels take up 180 square feet on his roof and produce 18-19 kilowatt hours on a good say, saving him about $625 in electricity a year. Troemel tracks the sloar panels and electricity usage on his computer at his home in Cheshire Monday.<br />
