TORRINGTON, CT -07 DECEMBER 2007 -121207DA02-Students of Torrington High School listen to a lesson in Beth Roscoe's senior class Wednesday. A growing number of students at the school are taking the Advanced Placement classes, which you can take tests at the end of for possible college credit. This coincides with a growing number pursuing college. But as more students take the tests, more fail. This is OK, according to Torrington educators. It's better to have them at least exposed to college-level work than not at all.<br />
