Last week students in grades three through six began lessons from volunteers of the Norfolk Curling Club to interest young children in the sport that has long been a tradition in the town. The school bought three curling kits with a federal grant that totaled $1,745. The entire cost was a little over $1,800 with additional targets, and swiffer brooms. All of the equipment was designed for indoor use. The "stones" are made of plastic with ball bearing casters on the bottom. Darlene Douty Republican American
