CT, 05 MARCH  2012-030512JS03-Wade Elmer, a Plant Pathologist at the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station in New Haven, looks over a batch of tomato plants he is growing using Biochar, a material obtained from the carbonization of biomass.
