WOLCOTT, CT 08 JULY 2015 - 070815DA01- Drew McWeeney of Wolcott instructs Gabriella Lucker, 4 , center and Dylan Dunn-Hernandez, 7, right, swim skills at Woodtick Recreation Area in Wolcott on Wednesday. McWeeney received all of his training and certifications at the Boy Scouts of American and has created the program for the Park and Recreation three years ago. McWeeney believes that it is important to teach children basic water, swim and rescue skills when they are young for safety and social reasons. He also is working on a plan so that all towns will implement swim curriculum throughout the state. Wolcott Sessions are two weeksMonday-Friday starting July 6th - July 17th or July 20th - July 31st.
