THOMASTON, CT-- 26  JANUARY 2008--012608JS03-John Collins of Watertown, left, shows off some pictures of when he was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps in Connecticut, to Peter Foley of Thomaston on Saturday during a lecture at the Thomaston Public Library. The lecture, led by author and historial Marty Podskoch, titled "Civilian Conservation Corps camps in Connecticut: Their History, Lore and Legacy", focused on the work done by members throughout the state. Collins worked in Camp Fernow in Eastford as well as Camp White, now part of the American Legion State Forest in Barkhamsted. <br />
