WATERBURY CT.-14 SEPTEMBER 2011-NEW_091411DA02-Naugatuck Valley Community College culinary student Joseph Castrovinci of Waterbury prepares braised beef brisket in a rich wine sauce to be served to the college's maintenance dept. and public safety on Wednesday. This luncheon kicks off the second year the students are doing a "farm to table" initiative where the students visit a local farm and see the meat and vegetables they will cook with and then prepare a menu that uses all in-season foods.<br />
