NEW HARTFORD CT. 28 July 2014-072814SV02-Workers from Hemlock Construction Company of Torrington work on a sewer line on Main Street in New Hartford Monday. The Water Pollution Control Authority has decided to abandon the old clay pipe that burst two weekends ago and divert the waste through a different pipe. The waste will go through a pipe under Central Avenue instead of Bridge Street. The WPCA agreed to spend up to $57,000 for the project.<br />
