WATERTOWN, CT-091517JS03-- Pauline Lagasse, a special education teacher at John Trumbull School in Waterbury, gets her hair dyed by volunteer hear dresser Carolyn Laudisi, left, during an assembly Friday at the school. The event was held as a promise to the students if they broke last years number of books read as part of the Summer Reading Program. In all, 26 teachers and staff agreed to have their hair dyed. The students read 8261 books, beating last years total by nearly 1000 books.<br />
