THOMASTON, CT--12 MARCH 2007--031207JS04- Blood drive volunteer Jill Sabol, 18, right, talks with first-time blood donor Mellissa Harrigan, 17, left during Tuesday's American Red Cross blood drive at Thomaston High School. The annual blood drive was sponsored by the Thomaston High School's School-to-Career program and opened to students and teachers. A total of 82 students and teacher registered to give for the event. The School-to Career program in conjunction with Future Teachers of America is also in the middle of a Pennies for Patients fund-raising drive to benefit Leukemia & Lymphoma patients. Their goal for the drive is $1500.<br />
