NAUGATUCK, CT-1 May 2015-050115EC08- Members of the Naugatuck Senior Center cheer as an administrator holds up a trophy of a horse's bottom as a prize during Kentucky Derby Day. This is the tenth year the senior center marked the Kentucky Derby with it's own friendly competition. Members volunteered to be jockeys and were assigned a horse number. A roll of the dice determined if they advanced to a winning position. The senior center was packed with fancy hats and a Kentucky-themed dinner. Members of the U.S. Army handed out roses.
