WATERBURY, CT-7 February 2014-020714BF01- Saint Mary’s Hospital will join hospitals across the state and the country today by participating in the American Heart Association’s 11th Annual National Wear Red Day for Women. To raise even greater awareness about heart disease, Saint Mary’s lit the front entrance of the hospital with red LED lights from 4 p.m. to midnight. Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women in the United States, and claims more lives than all forms of cancer combined. For more than 10 years, the American Heart Association has sponsored National Wear Red Day® to raise awareness in the fight against heart disease in women. Bob Falcetti Republican-American
