The concrete section of Huntingdon Avenue bridge looked as if it might have been stepped on by Paul Bunyan. The railroad tracks underneath are twisted and torn, and the river is peaceful now. The steel section over the Naugatuck River remained intact, and was being used yesterday by CL&P crews. 25 August 1955.
