Lena Neri, 12, of Thomaston, talks about a thimble during a Girlz RULE program at the Thomaston Public Library on Monday. The object of the activity was to take two objects out of a basket which best represent themselves. Neri said she chose the thimble because she likes to sew. The four day program is offered by the Girls Scouts of America and is open to scouts and non-scouts. Girlz RULE consists of team games and activities to help develop skills, social skills communication and self esteem. Registration will be taken up on days of the program. For more information or to register, please call the library at 860-283-4339 x 3 or visit our website at www.thomastonlibrary.org. Christopher Massa Republican-American
