WATERBURY, CT. 08 March 2007--04_NEW_030807SV01--From left, Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz watches Bob Gaetano and Mike Geary unwrap one of the new voting machines Waterbury received at the Chase building on Thursday. The Secretary of the State’s office is coordinating delivery this year of new voting machines to more than 140 towns and cities across Connecticut. Waterbury was receiving one of the larger shipments, 47 optical scanners. Most of Connecticut’s communities still do not have this new technology in place but will receive shipment by the end of April.
